Welcome to M & M 'z Alpacas - A Sweet Place to Visit.

Phil and Lois Shaneour are the owners of a plentiful
herd of huacaya alpacas.

Entering the alpaca business in 2008, the Shaneours
have dedicated their free time to sweet time with their
alpacas.

We are trying to breed for uniformity in all areas. We
also believe temperment is important and train our
offspring to be friendly and easy going. Much time is
spent with our crias to help them to become easy to
handle.

We are now having our fleeces sorted by a certified
sorter and sent to a co-op for processing. I am in the
process of getting certified. Not easy. Will take a
minimum of 2 years.

With sorted fleece you will know what grade, length
and textile color each animal is in order to make
better breeding decisions and decide what types of
products from super fine baby products right down to
rugs on the floor each animal can produce.
