Twin Beeches Alpacas, a Maryland alpaca sanctuary nestled within a grove of majestic American Beech trees is home to some of the mid-Atlantic regions' finest huacaya alpacas. Doug and Teece Nowell pride themselves on an astute breeding program to compliment their well chosen production female herd. Great attention is paid to conformation, fleece quality and genetics.

Fineness coupled with density is a recipe for success in alpaca breeding and a combination Twin Beeches Alpacas has accomplished and continues to strive for in every breeding. Their efforts have been rewarded in the show ring, as every animal bred under their breeding standards has ribboned under AOBA certified judging, most in the top third of the class. While showing is subjective and results vary, it does remain a "measuring stick" for your breeding program and Doug and Teece are very proud of their accomplishments.
