Ameripaca Alpaca Breeding Company is located in the rolling hills of Galesville, Maryland on 116 acres of historic farmland, part of which was once farmed for alfalfa and tobacco crops. Today, the old barn and original house have been replaced by our private residence, as well as
at least 10 other barns/buildings. Ameripaca is the home to over 300 alpacas, both suri and huacaya. While many people consider us a large farm, we maintain a small breeder outlook. Each alpaca is called by name, not number. Our mission statement is to provide high quality
and healthy alpacas with superior client support, at fair prices.

This support is capitalized by Gail's thirty one years as a veterinarian - the last eighteen of which have focused solely on camelids. Gail has birthed over 1,700 crias at Ameripaca! She personally examines every alpaca
on the farm during herd health (~every 45 days). She is available to answer medical questions and provide support for clients and their veterinarians.

Ameripaca has made a huge investment in genetic diversity. We own over 40 premium suri and huacaya herdsires from a diverse selection of well-known bloodlines, many of which dominate the show ring. Tap
into this incredible collection of genetics when you purchase any female. As all maiden females are sold with a free breeding! Gail helps owners select herdsires for their dams, based on conformation, fiber type, and color.
