Nestled in Northeast Connecticut's "quiet corner" Dragon Fly Farm is home to a variety of farm acivities and animals. The homestead dates back to the 1800s and we have spent over a decade restoring it back to a time long since past. Board fencing, stone walls, post and beam barns of local lumber....

Our farm includes our original breeding program of qulaity horses and ponies, now expanded to include Alpacas and Nigerian Dwarf Goats. We have a vegi garden, goats that provide fresh milk/cheese, free range chickens giving us eggs and alpacas giving us great fleece for all sorts of products. In the spring we will be going solar! There is lots going on at Dragon Fly Farm.

We are committed to raising quality Alpacas of proven heritage, both in the show ring and in pedigree. Correct conformation/bite, excellent fiber and well socialized animals are important for the success of this industry as well as our own herd.
