We are going into our 6th year! We have both Huacayas and Suris! We currently have 10 female Suris (6 bred for 2010) and 26 female Huacayas (10 bred for 2010). We have the selection you are looking for.
C2 Alpacas has been in the Alpaca business since 2004, and now, Christiann is a "full time" Alpaca rancher. We believe that you can get into this business without spending “high dollars”. Our program has proven that one can take an average female and carefully select the herdsire that has the qualities needed to improve that female. Our offspring are consistently in the ribbons including “Color Championships” & “Reserve Championships” not to mention several 1st and 2nd places. We breed all of our females as though we are planning on keeping them and improving our bloodlines. You can be assured that we will not sell a bred female with a less than desirable breeding.
We continuously attend seminars, read articles, listen to other breeders, and actively participate in Alpaca events. This allows us the opportunity to continue to learn about these wonderful creatures. This continuing education guides us in all our business decisions, breeding decisions, nutrition plans, and so on. We openly share this information with all our clients and will continue to do so. We will mentor and assist our clients any way possible. We are breeding for dark colored animals.
Our goal is to achieve the fleece quality of white Alpacas into the darker animals. We are getting there. Our herdsire “Aldabaron Juan” (Alvin) has 4 Color Championships to his credit. His average fleece score has been in the high 70’s, not too far from lighter colors.
We offer a wide range of bloodlines that include Hemingway, Sunny Mesa’s Taos,
C4 Myrl, Pperuvian Leon, Peruvian Drambuie G220, Pperuvian Pascual,
Pperuvian Felix, Peruvian Olympus, Peruvian Presidio, to name a few.

We offer complete service from the time you start to look until you decide you "got it". Our clients are always welcome to call, day or night, if needed. This is very critical for new breeders, when they are not sure if something is "wrong".
Our ranch is on 13 acres of pasture and trees. We are less than 1 hr. south of Denver and 40 min. north of Colorado Springs.
We always welcome ranch visitors. We teach by hands on expierence. Our goal is to allow prospective new breeders an opportunity to "EXPERIENCE" the "Alpaca Lifestyle". We offer learning experiences for handling, halter training, obstacle training, general care, shots, toenails, shearing, basic husbandry, farm set-up and yes, even "pooper scooping". It is not always easy, but it is always rewarding. We would love to "SHARE THE EXPERIENCE"! WE believe that the more information you have, the more success we as an industry will have.
We are in close proximity to several Colorado/Pikes Peak attractions. We offer a bit of touristy pleasure and business endeavors at the same time. You can Alpaca Ranch for a while and also enjoy the beautiful "Rocky Mountains".
