Conveniently located northwest of Houston, Texas, between Hwy 6 and Interstate 45, Tejas Alpacas combines peaceful gardens with a chorus of relaxing hums, nickers, chirps, clucks, and purrs, with a few barks thrown in.

With retirement approaching, I began looking for a supplemental income and activity that would involve my love of the rural life and animals. I found the most amazing creatures called alpacas. Here was the answer to my prayers. Not only were they a great investment, they also helped me in my other great passion – gardening. My herd is growing, as well as my knowledge of these wonderful animals. The farm and gardens are growing and expanding, with a variety of alpacas, horses, dogs, cats, and chickens.

Tejas Alpacas offers alpacas with fine fiber from established bloodlines in all colors, adapted to the Texas climate. Agisting and breeding services are also available. Visitors are welcome with advance notice!
