The huacaya alpacas we specialize in are boarded at Tahoe Breeze Alpacas in Gardnerville, Nevada near beautiful South Lake Tahoe.
Our herd is small in numbers, consisting of the finest quality foundation dams found anywhere. We truly believe our huacaya genetics are some of the most advanced in the industry.
The Service Sires we choose for our dams each season have consistently proved themselves in the show ring earning numerous championship honors for their owners.
These studs boast some of the lowest and most consistent histograms available, making them truly WORLD CLASS.
To our (left) as example is Snowmass Xxtreme Infatuation, our champion herdsire. Infatuation has been bred to several of our girls for summer 2012 crias. We can't wait to see his first cria and the quality genetics carried on in our breeding program.
We believe curvature, frequency and consistency of crimp are indicative of fineness. Histogram numbers each year confirm that belief.
In the end it is the fine, end products (dyed any color) we ultimately seek to contribute to the Alpaca fleece industry and global world markets.
