We're Marshall and Sunny Bishop and our alpaca farm is located in the beautiful, rural, Gilmanton, NH. We began our alpaca journey 6 years ago and have enjoyed all of it. We are an intentionally small huacaya farm breeding for fine fleece for the alpaca industry of the future. Marshall, who is a retired Marine, is my amazing 'farmhand.' He can do anything I ask him and he does it willingly! As for myself, Sunny, I'm currently a flight attendant working full time but love to spend any spare moment at home on the farm. We have roughly 3 acres of fenced in pasture for our alpacas and they love the change of scenery it provides them. Also on property is our small 'herd' of Moscovi ducks which are fantastic at eating parasites, etc. They're also very quiet. On another 3 acres we have our vineyard of over 700 grapevines in several different varieties both red and white. To top that all off the home we live in was once owned by Grace Metallious! In case you don't know the significance of that, she is the author of the book, movie, TV drama, PEYTON PLACE. It's alot of fun to hear all the stories about Grace.
