This little alpaca ranch is in the heart of cow country, where cows outnumber people a thousand to one! Our alpacas are definitely newcomers, but loved by everyone they meet. We call it a ranch because we raise livestock-farmers raise crops of corn and soybeans!

Our first alpaca purchase was December 2010, and look at us grow! We purpose to select strong white and light breeding stock with excellent fiber qualities, to position our ranch for a commercial fiber market. Colors that show up along the way are welcome for the crafter market. We are learning about fiber by taking our crop, cleaning, carding, spinning and even knitting a bit.
