Heaven's Promise Alpacas grew out of a desire for a new passion that could follow a joyful time of raising our two daughters and a long satisfying career in education: a life that would set me on fire...and it took only one look at an alpaca and a hand dipped deep into its fleece for that passion to ignite! Two GORGEOUS female suris later and I was on my way: Thompson Hollow Ruby and Black Jewel.
Now, in 2009, the Heaven's Promise Alpacas family has expanded to include a beautiful new True Black girl born to Black Jewel on August 20th: Bijou Noir. She carries the genetics of Bruxo and Macgyver from her Sire, Chipotle, and of Diamonte and Kobe from her dam. Ruby delivered a male cria, Jasper, on 9-9-09! He is full of personality and gives everyone much joy. Both Ruby and Jewel are confirmed pregnant, due in fall 2010. We continue to joyfully grow and cherish the alpaca lifestyle! Why "Heaven's Promise"? Because being around alpacas allows me to enjoy God's creation through these amazing, suprising and "heavenly" animals. Because God's never-ending love and the promise of heaven and an eternal life with Him are what has guided my life so far. Therefore, the goal at Heaven's Promise Alpacas is to provide "Heavenly Suris" (eventually all-black!!!) with a promise to interact with my clients adhering to the values of the Christian life I strive to lead. Above all, I want my business to glorify Him through the sale of excellent quality animals and by providing clients with the good old- fashioned values, friendliness and customer service I would expect and they deserve.
