Founded in 1995, Avalon Farm Alpacas is located in the heart of Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula and is home to a colorful herd of over 70 huacaya alpacas from diverse, award winning genetics. Over the years, we have earned a reputation for quality breeding stock, successful show ring performance, and excellent customer service. We offer for sale show quality alpacas, foundation breeding stock and fiber herd qualtiy alpacas.

Breeding services are available to your choice of our blue ribbon and Color Champion herdsires. Because we seek to provide our customers with choice and quality, we have selected herdsires that provide different color options and a variety of proven genetics. We believe in the importance of using outstanding herdsires, but we also know that they are only half of the reason our breeding program has been successful. The other half of the credit belongs to "the girls"... a Foundation herd made up of high quality females from diverse genetics. Our females represent breeding lines that include some of the industry's most well known and respected pedigrees.

All of our alpacas are registered with the Alpaca Registry, Inc. and all breeding stock are sold with full reproductive guarantees. We are members of AOBA, GLAA, ARI, the AOBA Show Division, and the AFCNA.
