Quarry Critters Alpaca Ranch specializes in Huacaya alpacas. We offer service in breedings and sales. We are an average size breeding operation with a medium herd size of Huacaya alpacas. We have a variety of alpacas that will fit your budget and breeding goals. At this time we are offering, breedings, bred females, proven herdsires, jr. herdsires, new crias and a package of fiber pets. We can offer valuable information on farm set up and operation along with what to do with your alpaca fleece. We take pride in providing quality care to our alpacas and customers. Our alpacas recieve hands on care everyday. They consume a quality nutrition plan, consisting of proper percentages of grass, hay, minerals and supplements. We provide our customers quality care by providing honesty, intigrity, a supportive team spirit and information. Our customers become friends and are treated like family.
We offer white or blacks males for stud services. Their conformation and color are magnificent. Their fleece is dense and oh-so-soft. We have chocolate browns dams, whites, blacks, fawns and even multi-colored known as “fancies” in our breeding program.
We are members of the ARI, the registry that uses blood type testing, in the USA. In addition to membership in the ARI we are members of the following organizations: Alpaca Owners and Breeders (AOBA) ; Mid-Atlantic Alpaca Association, Inc. (MAPACA); Pennsylvania Owners & Breeders Association (PAOBA);and The Alpaca Fiber Cooperative of North America, Inc.(AFCNA)
