Alpaca Breeder Farm
alpaca farms were - love at first sight! After relocating to Washington
State from New Jersey and buying a nice barn on two acres with a
house, too (that's how the listing described the property), we had to
decide what to do with the property.
Quite by accident we stumbled upon alpacas and bought a "set of
training wheels" (4 cria pets, no pun intended). This small investment
was to make sure we could transist from suburbia to caring for
livestock. We all know the ending to this story. Soon we bought two
pregnant females, then a third, then a male and crias kept coming and
all of a sudden we have 43 of these wonderful creatures and are ready
to "do business".
Our goal is to maintain a small herd (20-30) of quality animals
reasonably priced. We will try to always have a variety of quality and
color available, but our emphasis shall be true black.
Our females have been bred to some of the best males in the country
and carry lines that include legends such as Pluro, The Rebel, Accoyo
Peruvian King, Delfino el Peruviano, Camilio, Hemingway, Emerald
Farms Calypso Cloud, Orlando, CL9 Altair, Rico de Peru and Bolivian
Black Thunder.
Like most of our alpacas, we are "friendly and approachable". Please
call. We'd love to "hum" with you about our animals...or yours!
