Greetings from the Ritenours and the Alpacas of Alpaca Palace. We invite you to visit our farm and see our prized animals. We are currently located in Butler, PA about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh on 200 + beautifully manicured acres in a brand new state of the art facility.
Our herd currently consists of 31 Huacaya Alpacas, 15 male and 16 female. Please help us welcome as we purchased from our good friends Tim and Deb McCarty at Heather's Acre Alpaca Farm, Multi Champion Heather's Acre Accoyo Glamour. What a beautiful girl, her show record speaks for itself! In addition to the rest of our ribbon winning foundation herd, check out our multiple Color Champion, multiple Blue Ribbon winner, Jr. Herd Sire, Alpaca Palace’s Houdini. He is the King of the Castle!!! We are so proud of him. We are currently offering breedings and will discount if your Dam has won a blue ribbon or banner. We offer drive by/mobile breedings or will board your dam while she is being settled. We love alpacas and will care for yours like she is a member of the Alpaca Palace Kingdom. We just added another blue ribbon winning breeding male to our herd, Accoyo America Zeus and a Champion, blue ribbon winning yearling, Accoyo America Troubadour. Both elite males!! A limited number of itroductory breedings are currently being offered for Zeus. Call to schedule a visit and see for yourself why Alpaca Royalty Lives Here!!!
Our commitment is to breed for an elite alpaca with correct conformation and magnificent fiber. Through this commitment and our recent herd growth, in 2009, we purchased 200+ acres, an old dairy farm. There, we just finished construction of our new home and a new state of the art facility/barn surrounded by lush orchard grass pastures to care for our most precious livestock investment. We are in the process of moving and will schedule the open house for late November. We will keep you updated as we progress.
The new barn, complete with 10 foot overhangs, to protect the animals from the weather while still being outside as they prefer, Nelson heated-waters, in-floor heated birthing stalls, and an internet based camera/security system which monitors our alpacas 24/7. In addition, we added an in-barn medical records room where we can easily chart and record medical history and information so that we can provide the best care and ensure the wellbeing of these fine animals. The barn is also home to our new farm store, Alpaca Palace’s Luxury Clothier, where we will offer luxurious alpaca apparel.
