Dr. Julio Sumar found Mapquest to be close to perfect in his proportions and suggested that an artist should paint his likeness as an example for everyone. His fleece was also highly praised for its fineness, consistency, and density. Those attributes won him the blue ribbon in a large class of 12.

Mapquest is a member of the Group of 3 Charles P. Atlas cria who were awarded the Blue Ribbon at the Indiana Show in the Get of Sire category.

His dam is our true black Legacy of Bolivia daughter,Valente, who is also the dam of our herdsire Baron von Hershey. And his sire is Charles, who is the grandson of Peruvian Matador and Accoyo Timoteo and son of the great Peruvian Quetzal.

He has heavy bone, a perfect square body, and a broad chest. His legs are straight and strong. His fiber is very dense, fine, and was organized into bundles before he dried.

He is a smokey dark brown, black, that has a decidedly gray cast to it. We are very excited to add this unique male to our breeding program.
