Lucky was born on Friday the 13th - a lucky day for us! He has dense, crimpy white fiber, solid conformation, and a sweet, easy-going disposition.
Lucky's dam, Tahitian Pearl, is a descendant of The Silversmith, a legendary grey herdsire. Lucky's sire, Snowmass Legacy Gold, has won major awards at every level and at every stage of his development, including back-to-back Breed and Color Championships at the 1999 & 2000 Futurities in Oklahoma City, and numerous get-of-sire firsts. In February 2006 Legacy Gold was the highest priced male at The Making of Champions Private Selection Sale ($500,000). We look forward to how these genetics will impact Lucky's many future crias.
On his first try, Lucky settled our lovely Spring Hope, who delivered a beautiful white female in 2006 (FF Autumn Mist - "Misty"). He again settled Hope on the first mating, and she delivered a handsome fawn male in 2007. We wish we had more appropriate females to breed to Lucky. With his genetics, the crias should be fabulous. However, our loss is your gain - we are reducing his price to allow him to have a more active and satisfying breeding career.
