FF Peaches & Cream

Newborn

Sire: Haiku
Peaches & Cream got her name from her beautiful peachy fiber, and her sweet white face. She arrived right on her due date, and was up and nursing in an hour. (Her dam has very predictable delivery dates).
Peaches is bright and curious, and seems to have a sense of humor. She is a joy to greet every morning, with her gentle demeanor. She has developed into a very nice young female, with good conformation and fine, silky fiber. (2008 AFD 22.7, SD 4.4, CV 19.3)
Peaches' fiber is very soft - rather like a cloud, it has a wonderful hand. She exhibits a fading fawn pattern indicative of her grey heritage - both a grey dam, and a sire with grey heritage. She will certainly have good potential to throw greys when she becomes a mother.
Peaches' grandsire, 5Peruvian Silverado, was hand selected out of the Sollocota Region in Peru by veterinarian and alpaca importer, Anthony Stachowski, DVM, who chose Silverado for his own herd. Silverado is best known for producing award-winning, crimpy-fleeced offspring with outstanding density and a soft handle with little or no guard hair.
Her dam and full sisters have very predictable due dates, plenty of milk, and exhibit strong maternal instincts. All of this indicate that she should be a great, predictable mom, with very nice crias.
We plan to breed Peaches to Peruvian Pizzaz this fall.
