Contact me for fiber samples from this male. TSL Adagio is my first male. Adagio's sire is Mr President who is now deceased. This pairing has brought in the Accoyo genetics and I am pleased with what was produced. I notice he has much less primary fibers on him than his dam, especially in the apron area and lower on his belly. He has his dams baby alpaca fineness and seems to be maintaining a very nice handle, even with testosterone. Adagio does have a spot of color on his right shoulder, just inside the blanket area. This dark fawn/light brown area has the identical handle that his white fleece has (soft, soft, soft), very nice, uniform crimp, and it is growing at the same rate. For fleece shows or processing it will easily skirt out and there are no other stray dark fibers on him anywhere.
I recently evaluated his fleece and am pleased with his regrowth since being shorn a third time. His topknot has "micro-crimp in it and, as I handled him from top knot to tail, I was pleased with the uniformity of fineness and uniformity of crimp and his decreased medullation over his dam. Simply wonderful!
Adagio is sound and has matured well, but does not meet my breeding program standards and is now a gelding. He has wonderful fiber and will offer you many years of a higher quality white fleece with a fabulous brightness and avery nice handle. White is wonderful because you can dye it so many colors. Call me for a fiber sample from Adagio and we can discuss how you can own him.

2006 Fall Fest Castle Rock CO 3rd out of 3. I wasn't there to hear the judges comments so I don't know how he compared to the other two males in his shorn class.
2006 Mid-America 6 out of 8 in what is always a tough class - full fleece WHITE. I knew his fawn spot on his shoulder would place him lower, Judge Amy Bliss-Miller stated as such, but also noted he had a very soft handle to his fleece, actually better than the one above him. Having him placing in a juvenile male white class was simply an unexpected and wonderful feeling. She said if he didn't have the DF spot he would have placed higher. All I know is I am breeding for fineness and he has it. The spot......well let's see.... fineness with color........sounds good to me... How about you?
