Hemingway needs no introduction, only that, we must recognize his influence over the improvements of United State’s alpaca fleece standards. With the likes of one of his best daughters, Elise, Hemingway made his mark in the industry. Elise is a pure joy to put your hands on her fiber at 8 years old. We look forward to many years of super fine production.

Elise has proven herself by producing beautiful crias with extremely low micron counts. At the age of 8, her micron is still in the teens! She has a fawn spot , which proved to be significant when she produced a fawn offspring in 2005. We plan on breeding her to some of our fine fawn herdsires

Elise’s conformation is correct. Her Bite is perfect and has never needed to be trimmed. She has average bone and overall size .

She has proven to be an excellent mother, and her crias and grandcrias have inherited her incredible fineness. Her bloodline should be extremely fun combining it with our Misty Maiden bloodlines. Misty Maiden had a 19 mircon at the age of 14! Now that’s what I’m talkin about!
