This is a BOLIVIAN BLACK MAGIC GRANDDAUGHTER! She's ALL THAT, and it shows! You just can't lie with genetics...
We liked this match so much that we have repeated it twice since. Each time Merry and Magic have produced lovely correct offspring. Magic's Mystical Surprise was so named because her sire jumped the fence to breed Merry. We thought Merry was pregnant and in the middle of a party, Mysty showed up! She has been a strong healthy, correct girl with an incredibly sweet personality like her dam. She is a gentle soul, very interested in the cria this year showing she is ready to breed. Her Dam and Aunts and Grandmother have been outstanding producers for us. They all have been attentive mothers after giving easy births with plenty of milk. This female line has strong mothering instincts. Mysty's fleece is very softly losely locked and silky. She has a wonderful fineness and softness to her fleece. Her luster is quite nice and her conformation is correct. Mysty's coverage goes to her toes and puffs around her face. She is going to make a terriffic dam to many cria.
We like to think of this girl as the feminine chip off the old Magic Block. She is her sire in feminine form! When you look across the pastures here, Mysty and Indy are so often mixed up with Magic that it looks like we are breeding clones - this is the consistency that we have been able to produce. The fineness in this dark family of fleece maintains throughout life and is passing on beautifully in the offspring. We look forward to her future offspring. She will be an excellent addition to your suri herd!
Mysty's 2011 shearing was a total of 4.2 pounds of soft fine luxurious 1 and 2nd fiber.
