Mid America Alpaca Show: Spirit of the Industry award (for his 9th fleece). At ten years of age, Ramon's fiber is maintaining it's character and fineness. His 10th fleece looks as good or better than others that are half his age. Look what he throws: son Jackson, 16.9 MC on second fleece; son Timmy, 21.7 on third fleece; three 2007 daughters tested at 15.8 (med. fawn), 15.6 (light fawn) and 18.4 (dark fawn) microns.

CONGRATULATIONS to IHA Kimberly, a Ramon daughter, on her recent ribbons: 1st Place LB Juvenile at the 2006 MOPACA Show; 2nd place LB Juvenile at the 2006 Wisconsin Spring Fling.
CONGRATULATIONS to JFS EL TOMAR, a Ramon son, who walked away with the composite LIGHT COLOR CHAMPION MALE at the 2005 ABR Fall Fesival beating out 17 other entries.
The last owner of the now deceased P. Timoteo described DPF Ramon as "a phenominal animal". Other breeders have called him "outstanding", "spectacular" and "awesome." Ramon's fiber exhibits multiple tiny crimps per inch from the skin all the way to the tips on very well defined locks.
Timoteo genetics are rare and hard to acquire. ARI Database shows only 15 breeding sons of Pperuvian Timoteo.
He is throwing color and passing on his award winning fleece characteristics. Ramon is PRODUCING FEMALES! 13 females/5 males to date. Each one the color of the dam, including a Rose Grey, Dark Silver Grey and now a Bay Black!
2004 F2F Spin Off: 2nd Place with 84 of 85 points. 1/2 point behind 1st place, which was the highest scoring huacaya. 2004 Mopaca Spin Off: 1st Place Ribbon scoring 99 of 100 points. Docked 1 point for VM. 2004 GWAS Fleece Show: 2nd place.
