Yamana is a beautiful girl with striking presence, well-balanced conformation, and thick bone. She has a beautiful head and her fleece is dense with coverage from head to toe. Yamana was sired by Compadre, one of Patagonia's top true black herdsires. Her dam is Judy G, and is half-sister to multiple award-winning Patagonia's Cayo.
On September 13, 2008 Yamana gave birth to a beautiful white male cria. He was sired by Patagonia's Lennox and has wonderful conformation, substantial bone structure, and gorgeous fleece.
Last year she was bred to Lakeside Alpaca's multiple award winning Mr. Golden Boy. Mr. Golden Boy's grandsires are PPeruvian Pluro and PPPeruvian Mr. President.
Yamana gave birth to a dark brown male in September, 2009. For 2010 we plan to breed her to Patagonia's Amancio.
