1/2 Interest in Juneau has been SOLD!
Juneau comes from a long line of champions. Her sire is PATAGONIA's Lennox, and her grandsire is PATAGONIA's Danko. Her dam, Preciosa of Lonepine Ranch, is a Yupanqui daughter. Preciosa received 1st Place Produce-of-Dam at Alpacapalooza 2007, and 3rd Place Produce-of-Dam AWE 2007.
Juneau has a wonderful presence, tight uniform crimp, and a gorgeous head. She was referred to by Charlene Friedman at Alpacapalooza 2006 as "elegant".
Juneau took 1st Place at IAO 2007 in the fawn color division judged by Dr. Julio Sumar, as well as the Grand Color Championship. She is an impressive animal!
Her follicle count is 61 follicles per SQ MM, with an S/P ratio of 10.8 to 1, and secondary fibers averaging 20.1 microns. Starlite, Juneau's half-sister, has a follicle count of 84.75 per SQ MM!
Juneau gave birth to a very nice medium brown female cria, Aurora, on June 24, 2008.
We bred her to our own Patagonia's Amancio in 2008 and they produced a beautiful rose grey, Arctic Rose.
Juneau's Defender continues the winning tradition of his dam and siblings and will be one to watch next year at the 2012 shows!
