Piper produced an incredible true black female this year out of our National Champion Black herdsire Peruvian Midnight Man. We have sold MM since, but had we seen Pipers cria first, MM would have not been sold. Look for Pipers cria Night Moves in the show ring this year.

Piper is a Sweet girl in more ways than one. Her Super sweet personality is the first thing that sets her apart from the herd . But as you start looking through her fiber , She's got the SWEETEST FLEECE! Nice high frequency crimp, fine long staple and a great handle. Piper's fleece is VERY consistent throughout her blanket, extending down her legs and under her belly! She has perfect conformation with straight legs and compact build.

Piper did well in the showring, never finishing below 2nd Place and Always being singled out for the best fleece in her class, Her bloodlines are very unique, with a pronounced background of black. We look for Piper to throw a lot of black for us over the years.

We decided to breed Piper to the Rico Suave to try and make a colorful superfine offspring. Rico is the fella that has a 17.1 micron at 8 years old. I know, its hard to believe, but the histograms and biopsy results tell the story.

Piper has the second best brown fleece we've ever seen, with Peruvian Crystal having the best. This should make quite the brown breeding duo.
