LYDIA ROSE is 1/2 sister to LIKA ROSE, ROSIE'S first cria. As was true of LIKA, LYDIE has exceptionally fine fiber with high frequency crimp, in addition to excellent density. LYDIE'S 2007 Micron Test from Yocom-McColl produced a MC of 17.8. LYDIE has perfect conformation, pronounced presence and is also extremely typey. LYDIE has all it takes to be a Great Production Female and has proven herself to be so with her first 2 cria!
LYDIE had her first cria, LEAH ROSE on May 3rd, 2008. Sired by POLARIS, LEAH is a beautiful LF. LYDIE had an unassisted birth and proved to be a natural mother, just like her wonderful mother ROSIE, and her awesome grandmother SUGAR ROSE who is now a great grandmother with LEAH'S arrival. SUGAR ROSE is a DSG import who started this elite female dynasty and the maternal instincts that are characteristic of the females who have her genetics.
LYDIE gave birth to her 2nd strong, healthy cria, another female, our 1st OLIVER CRIA, on May 21st. Again LYDIE continued to be a wonderful mother with plenty of milk and natural nuturing abilities. OLIVER'S LINDSEY ROSE OF SMKF is amazing and has also developed exceptionally well, mothered by LYDIE and sired by OLIVER.
LYDIE gave birth to her 3rd very healthy cria on May 25th, 2010. Sired by our ACCOYO AIDEN, we have named him SMKF ACCOYO AIDEN'S LIL' ABNER. Another amazing cria out of our ROSE LINE crossed this time with the LEGACY LINE!
LYDIE has been bred to SLEEPING MONK FARM ALEXANDER, full brother to our Multi-Time Champion SLEEPING MONK FARM ARLO, for her 2011 cria. And in July, LYDIE birthed an awesome female whom we have named SMKF LOLA ROSE!
