Bay Black Artero son, it doesn't happen very often but when it does.... Look Out!

Artero always produces white offspring, but when you produce color from this boy it's a knockout! Artero progney always place in the white classes! But when he produces colored offspring they are always up at the TOP OF THEIR CLASS and are always in contention for a BANNER! This is where we get the WHITE QUALITY ELITE FLEECES in COLOR! Articus is getting his color from his dam Sarita (who is actually MAROON in color) consistently produces rich colored bay blacks cria. Her genetics include; True Black, Bay Black, Med Brown, Dark Brown, Med Fawn, Med Silver Gray and White. Chances are good that this line will continue to produce color. Articus is so nice, that her owner Debby Varga from Shear Delight Alpacas LLC, liked him so, that she bred her back to Artero hoping for a girl this time!

At 4 months of age, he is already exhibiting a well organized fleece, excellent staple formation and independent bundling. As his fleece grows out it is showing us a high definition crimp with lots of luster! As with all HEMINGWAY GENETICS, a VERY SOFT HAND!

Articus is very correct with his conformation, a little doll head, looks like he will be medium to heavy boned with a high neck set and good bite. He is already 45 pounds and is going to be a large male.
