Eager to enter this world and get started, Malibu was born 3 1/2 weeks early! Fortunately, fully developed and healthy, but a little weak. She was fiesty though, and fought through it! Now she is a bouncy, healthy little girl! And, what a cute personality. Every other day, she walks to the gate so that I will let her into the yard to play, which I did with her when she was born. She will run up and down the fence - I think she's teasing the other girls that she can be in the yard and they can't! How adorable is that! She's the only alpaca I've seen that actually bounces around!

Malibu's sire is my full Peruvian Hustler's LEGEND (my favorite baby and the picture I use in my farm advertising). He has an incredibly gentle nature and wonderfully dense fleece. Legend brings great bloodlines from Legacy, Snowmass Millenium, Hustler, Hemingway, Augusto and Logan! WOW! Hustler was listed in Magical's 2004 Herdsire Catalog as one of their top junior herdsires. He is a stunning male with an incredible lineage. Hustler's sire,Snowmass Millenium,is a 2x Futurity Grand Champion.Magical says "his cria have outstanding fleece coverage, bone capacity, excellent fleece character & outstanding fleece growth." Hustler's grand-sire, Legacy, had a 1/2 interest sold for $750,000 making him a $1.5 MILLION DOLLAR man! His line also has Peruvian Hemingway & Peruvian White Out. Legend's maternal side has MFI Peruvian LOGAN and the legendary AUGUSTO. Logan is one of the phenomenal signature fawn herdsires for Magical Farms with perfect confirmation & an incredible head.

Malibu's dam is our Garnet. Her best features are her beautiful maroon fleece and her wonderful mothering qualities! Her sire is gray, so you have those possibilities in the bloodline.

Malibu is playful and sweet and will always be a favorite. We've always had our cria born at another farm, but this was the first we've had birthed here!
