Oh My goodness do we love this baby! She is so wonderful, soft, crimpy, typey, there simply are not enough adjectives to describe her. Heart is solid grey from the tip of her head to her toes. Her color is consistantly even through out her whole fleece. She was born in October so she wasn't shorn yet, this May will be her tui fleece. We are awaiting a histogram on her. We simply love the modern greys and have for nearly 8 years now. I was so happy with this baby we repeated the breeding. We love "Heart of Gold" and we are keeping her. She is everything I have hoped for in a foundation female, her mother is certainly high on the list of one of our most treasured mothers, with wonderful mothering skills, and abilities. Heart's sire is Crown Point's Royal Gold and he has now thrown the color of the mother with 98% accuracy, the other 2 percent are darker than the moms.
Take a look at this little beauty, got a black or grey female you want to keep the color but breed up the fleece? Royal Gold is your boy. There are a ton of great breeding males out there for sure, but not all the fawns let the color of the dams through. This boy does. And as of right now he has tipped the scales on the girls side 5 to 2. We have 5 of his little girls here if you want to see them, check out their fleece and their color.
