Great Grandsire: PPeruvian Augusto!
Our Fair Lilly is a gorgeous white female with a beautiful, soft, crimpy white fleece. She also has a medium fawn spot on her neck! She is a striking female with a gorgeous head, great bone capacity, and excellent coverage. Her sire is Day Star's Peruvian Uncle Jeff, son of CPeruvian Accoyo Don Quijote! Her dam is a pretty medium fawn female named USA Peruvian NOA, daughter of Peruvian Catero who's sire is PPPeruvian Augusto!
Lilly has some very famous ancestors!
Accoyo Don Quijote was an in-utero import in 1998, making him one of the very last breeding selections made on the Accoyo ranch before importation was ended. He has possibly the rarest champion Accoyo genetics in the country! Don Quijote is classic Accoyo, with big bone, great coverage, outstanding density and bold crimp. He has shown a strong propensity to combine his bold Accoyo conformation and fleece characteristics with the dam's color. A Full Accoyo Import with totally unique bloodlines. He was the 2006 Get of Sire winner! In 2006 alone he produced 17 out of 20 females making his total numbers around 75% girls with over 40 cria on the ground!
In Peru Peruvian Augusto's registered name was Kansas, son of Killahuasi, one of the best studs to serve at Majada de Selectas which features alpacas characterized by their fine wool. In a letter from Julio Barreda in 1995 he writes "I am positive that whoever buys Kansas will be satisfied." With over 200 progeny to Augusto's credit, all outside breedings were discontinued in 2005. Without question, Augusto has contributed enormously to the North American alpaca industry.
With her Accoyo genetics and fine fleece we feel Lilly is an excellent prospect for being a foundation female! She sells with two free breedings to any Brandilyn Farm herdsire.
