Excellent conformation with a fabulous staple length.

Aurora's staple length, UNSTRETCHED was 5 inches at her 4th shearing in 2008! My breeding program includes a longer staple length and fineness into maturity. She bred to Laredo Alyst and June 16th 2008 produced Demitri, a handsome bay black male. He weighed in at 14-8/10 pounds. Aurora offers so much milk he has a milk muzzle, not just a moustache!

The herds imported from the Alianza Co-op in Peru are noted for maintaining their fineness into maturity. Guellermo and Bueno are both full Alianza imports, (Laredo's genetics) and Aurora has El Jefe, another Alianza male, in her pedigree. Aurora carries wonderful bloodlines (Silversmith, Chaval, Ghenghis Khan, Inkan Knight) and she has a very high probability of producing solid dark (which Demitri is!) and gray offspring.

She is a solid white (BEW) animal and we know she has a hearing deficit, but we aren't positive she's totally deaf. Even so, these are fiber animals that live in herds & her staple length is exceptional thus, she has much to offer to my breeding program and possibly yours, if you don't buy into the BEW hype. With those combined bloodlines I knew Aurora would produce a wonderfully fibered offspring with excellent staple length, greater uniformity and lasting fineness acquired from the combination of these highly sought after Alianza genetics. This pairing indeed "criated" an offspring with a wonderful pedigree - and if my judgement is accurate (time will tell), he'll have exceptionally sustainable fleece traits as well!

Hmmmm.....who should she breed to next?? Buy her and help me decide! Demitri is weaned and can be included....maybe......not sure......
