India is a true black beauty like her dam, our foundation AOCR Cleo Patra. Cleo has produced many our best black offspring. India's sire is our foundation MSG Patagonia's Santo. India's pedigree is loaded (78%) with black and grey lineage.
She is a statuesque female with the excellent conformation of her sire and dam.
India wears lustrous soft black fiber which continues to hold good quality through age and pregnancy. She has good density, vicuna style crimp, and she is holding good staple length as she ages. As is our breeding programs focus at Little Circle Farm, we strive to improve fleece while maintaining color.
India, like her dam Cleo, is an easy birther, an excellent and attentive mother, and she provides an abundance of milk. As a matter of fact, she was so attentive with her first cria, she refused to be bred back while she was nursing. Our dams do the weaning on our farm and India did not begin to wean Isis until she was close to a year old.
With the purchase of India, we will provide a free breeding to any of our unrelated herdsires.
