several crias on the ground as of July 2009
Yes, we are considering leasing Prince out. If you have a desire please contact us.
If you are a breeder looking for those rare COLOR/Quality crias, Consider a breeding to Prince. We believe he can take color to a new level.
"I've never seen such great independent lock structure on a male of this maturity. Usually we see some matting at this age, but in this boy's fleece, we have very consistent thick dense locks from tips to the skin, INCREDIBLE!".....David Barboza,2008 Indiana.
"Excellent independent lock structure and luster with exceptional soft handle" .....Mike Safely 08 Futurity
"He has the total package"....Jude Anderson 2008 OABA
Prince began his show career at the 2007 Futurity at age nine months, winning his First Reserve Championhip. A month later he won the Reserve championship at the 2007 AOBA Nationals. Here, 98 white suri males competed at 2007 Nationals, THE largest group EVER to compete in one color class!
Prince has achieved unprecedented success against the most extreme competition of alltime!
As of Dec 2008, Prince has won a total of 12 championships, 11 halter championships & 1 fleece championship in white classes.
Pretty amazing show career considering he has competed in the very competitive white classes.
Prince's dam, Arizona Sage, is the Peruvian Rufino fawn daughter who won 7 championships in 7 months and retired undefeated in the show ring! Arizona Sage is one of only 13 offspring from the legendary 6Peruvian import, Rufino .
Arizona Sage is one of those amazing dams that produces exceptional offspring each year, including BLACK!
Can you see where we are going with this?
You know , back when we purchased Prince in 2006, friends asked us, "Why are you buying a WHITE boy?, I thought you want a color breeding program?" Maybe now, since Prince has sired a TRUE BLACK female, they understand WHY we bought the BEST WHITE male(with black recessive color gene) in the land, To produce Top Notch COLORED offspring!!!!!.
We purchased Prince at 6 months old realizing that he could probably dominate the white show classes. More importantly, we knew that his 7x Champion dam, Arizona Sage, carries the black recessive gene, and his sire, Accoyo Crowne Royal, carries the black recessive gene. What does all of this mean? It means Prince has a 50% of carrying the black recessive gene. If that is the case, Prince will be producing color offspring......AND , infact, Produced a True Black female in November 09.
We patiently waited to see if Prince would let color pass like both of his parents. The results are quite amazing as the Get of Sire wins point to.
Now you can see where we were going with this guy. COLOR & extreme Quality.
Sure, you could go breed to one of those colorful, over used, and dare I say, "COMMON" bloodline boys with all the banners and ribbons, but why breed for bloodlines that soooo many breeders own?. On the contrary, consider BREEDING for GREATNESS, Championship pedigree, AND Rarity. Prince offers the greatness of elite white fleece, that can metamorphize into colorful elite fleece. He definately gives you the championship pedigree. Rarity? How many brown, black, fawn, with Crown Royale OR Rufino bloodlines, are you aware of ?
Crown Prince's sire, Crown Royale, has an impressive white offspring record, having won over 50 Blues and 30 Championships. Crown Royale is not a widely bred male and has not been bred to much color at all. SO, the door is wide open to produce rare, high quality , COLORED suris by breeding to Prince!
- Incredible luster,
- 11+ lbs. of fleece!
- Amazing staying power of consistent independent lock structure.... Barboza said..."incredible independenct locks"
- again, 11+ lbs. of fleece first shearing
- 18 micron at 21 months of age
- 21 CV, Safely said ....."Exceptionally soft handle"
- Statistics prove "YOU CAN have density AND fineness!"
- Histogram data and Photographs demonstrate that "By Golly, you CAN have Fineness AND independent lock structure on the same alpaca"
- 7X Champion dam, Arizona Sage
- Dam produced BLACK offspring
- Prince = 12X Championships
- Prince = 2X AOBA National Champion
- No white Suri EVER won 2 halter National Championships until Prince
- Rare bloodlines/ Rufino X Accoyo Crown Royale
- Full Peruvian
- 1/2 Accoyo
- Excellent conformation with big bone
- 2 time GET of Sire wins in 2 attempts with his first 3 offspring!
- True Black offspring on the ground
GET in on Crown Prince's rare combination of rare genetics, championship pedigree, and his unique elite fleece characteristics!
For those of you intereseted in future breedings, remember the fact that Prince's dam, Arizona Sage produced a true black suri boy, named Wily Coyote, who won 3rd at the 2007 Futurity! Remember that his Accoyo sire produced BROWN, Prince of Angels. And remember that PRince dominated the white suri halter show classes from 2007-2008.
Okay, I will let it rest at that!!!!!
If you are up to owning one of the premier future herdsires , Prince's 1/3 interest is only $20,000
