Stormy was born after 13 days and 9" of rain. His Mom kept going to the door of the alpaca shed and looking up. She looked distressed. She was huge. It was her first cria. Finally the sun came out for 30 minutes and she delivered Stormy. then the rain began again. She had done a good job but Mother Nature was very hard on her! Stormy is a very correct big boned guy. He is also one of the friendliest alpacas on the farm and gives visitors kisses upon arrival. He gets along well with his 2 brothers who form a paca pack, Sunny and Indy. We had Stormy gelded because as lovely as he is, his lustrous fiber is a bit loose. I combine him with my other bright reds and make a georgous soft yarn. Stormy has alot of fiber and the color is outstanding. Stormy would make a wonderful pet or fiber animal. We would consider a special deal with Sunny or Indy as they are great friends, or Apricot Brandy. Stormy would make a great 4h project or backyard pet as he has an outgoing personality and alot of good looks. He has been 100% healthy since he was born.
