LPOH Chaya Desiree

Chaya is spectacular.. She boasts a dense , lustrous bold crimpy fiber that opens into fingers of soft fleece.
I took a chance breeding Chaya. She appeared to be a difficult breeder and refused attention from any male. She never kushed , ever.
I decided to sell her as a fiber animal as her fleece is outstanding. It seemd such a shame to give up on her so took a chance and took my best , most persuasive male and exposed her to him. With much fuss she finally relented. I wasn't sure if she took as she never showed any signs not unusual to herself. Anyways , to make a long story short,i began to see cria movement towards the end of her gestation and 11 months , 10 days later she went into labourn and with minimal help form me, the cria was a good size , she delivered a perfect crimpy curly girly bundle of cria to this world ! She has turned out to be a perfect mom with tons of milk. Her cria has developed straight and majestic ,alot like her dad , Dawson.
A happy story for sure and now Chaya has joined the ranks of breeding females. She may be a little more cooperative next time with her man . We shall see.
I am sceduling a breeding with Peruvian Strongbow, our 7/8 Accoyo white male to bring the bloodlines of Peruvian Hemingway , Peruvian Legacy, Pperuvian Caligula, PPeruvian Royal Fawn and 4Peruvian Pachacuti together into a fabulous future possible herdsire.
We are taking Chaya off the market for now.
