Miss Wise Obsession, a proven black beauty out of two black parents, still has lovely crimpy fiber, very nice conformation and a rare bloodline. She is one of only 11 registered offspring sired by Lanark’s Obsession (deceased), a phenomenal black Peruvian male who has passed on his excellent conformation, good bone and outstanding fiber characteristics. Her dam is Miss Midnight Madness, who represents all the desirable qualities of a foundation female - conformation, milk and maternal traits and contributed her award winning fiber characteristics. Miss Wise is tall, intelligent and has impressive presence. She is a wonderful mother having plenty of milk and is very protective and caring.

She is dam to Thistledown's Little Miss Demelza (841431); Thistledown's Hamilton (1251456) as well as The Sheriff of Nottingham Hollow (1216288); Nottingham Hollow's Black Velvet (30472730); Nottingham Hollow's Dougal; Quinn of Nottingham Hollow and now Amerikhan Obsession of Nottingham Hollow!

Amerikhan Obsession, also known as Sassy, is a very dark brown female who was sired by Mada Vemi's Amerikhan Legend who is out of The Aga Khan. She was born on November 1, 2009 weighing 16 pounds and ending a 324 day gestation. True to form she is thriving...

Dougal is a very dark brown with a lot of black markings. He presented at 19 pounds; was up standing and walking within the first hour and found the milk bar almost immediately. Dougal is the full brother to Black Velvet and watching the family dynamics out in the pasture is very gratifying. Black Velvet is being very maternal seeming to follow in her dam's shadow!

Miss Wise bred with Nottingham Hollow's Friar Tuck for her December 2008 cria, Quinn was actually born on November 27th - Thanksgiving morning! He has very crimpy fiber, is straight as an arrow and light fawn. We named him Quinn after his dam - Quinn means Wise. He's very friendly and independent and at a year old is the spitting image of his sire at the same age.
