Rider's arrival was quite a surprise! We were happily anticipating a wonderful black cria when out popped a solid rose gray, yes, a modern gray!!! WOW! Tons of silver on his face, neck and legs. His fleece is very shiny, crimpy and bundled. We keep parting his fleece to enjoy the beauty of it! I want a SWEATER made out of that yummy fiber!

Shearing revealed that exciting taupey gray color - still solid dark rose gray! Rider definitely has the most beautifully colored fleece we have ever produced on our farm. Rider inherited that gorgeous head from his mother. This boy will be winning some ribbons in the ring!
