Amarante was born 30 minutes after Painted Lady, hence we thought of Lady and the Tramp, so there is his farm name! Also, he was an unplanned product of Merry and Magic as we were going to give Merry a year off. Magic jumped the fence and Merry must have consented, and now we are lucky enough to have Tramp. We have concluded that Amarante (meaning Lover!) is DARK ROSE GREY. He clearly has white hairs throughout, coming out more each day. His fleece is very very dark, penciled and lustrous. We are going to need to watch his beautiful LUSTROUS dark fiber grow. I'm already impressed with his fiber density. He has fantastic signature Magic SOFT dark shiny locks. His dam, America, also has good softness and density. We are absolutely thrilled Magic jumped the fence to produce this one! He is solid with no white markings. He is strong and stately and had great herdsire attitude already - at 6 weeks! Now a 14 months, he is quite the young gentleman. Buy this boy early before i decide to keep him for our program. He is a perfect young herdsire!

Amarante will be an awesome future herdsire. Those in his family have been early to breed, he'll be a year old in June and growing beautifully. Amarante has the beautiful bearding of a very suri alpaca...he has fluff all over his head actually with just the nose short haired. His fleece is truly outstanding. REMEMBER, his sire, Magic's Redeemer, son of Bolivian Black Magic, has over 40 cria to his name and ALL SURI. His dam, America, has been an outstanding producer for us, showed well at MAPACA as a juvenile and has produced 2 females, one dark brown and silky, and one dark rose grey like Amarante. These genetics are unbeatable! The best blend of Peruvian and Bolivian colored genes!
