League Of Champions
The AlpacaStreet.com League of Champions is a collection of alpaca breeders who have demonstrated excellence in their breeding program. To become a member of the Leauge of Champions, a Breeder must:
- Be a Breeder Member of AlpacaStreet.com
- Own any combination of 12 Championships or Reserve Championships from halter and/or fleece competitions sponsored by AOBA, or ALSA or other national or international association. The breeder must either own the animal(s) responsible for the championships/awards or have owned them when they won the championships/awards.
Benefits to League of Champions members include:
- Logo-link on the League of Champions members page with link to your website
- League of Champions alpacas are highlighted in all alpaca searches
- Searches can be performed of League of Champions only
- Special League of Champions recognition in AlpacaStreet.com advertising
- League of Champions banner for shows
- Increased exposure in AlpacaStreet.com advertising, including national email blasts
The League of Champions is not just a "select" group, but they are also an "accomplished" group, whose members are awarded on the basis of merit. AlpacaStreet.com will continue to focus on excellence within the alpaca industry because it is through excellence that the alpaca industry will continue to improve, grow, and be a dynamic and rewarding livestock industry for generations to come.
The League of Champions is the new benchmark for quality in the alpaca industry.
If you would like to submit an application to become a member of the League of Champions, simply provide a listing of the 12 championships you own, along with:
1. The name and date of each event
2. The name and ARI number of the alpaca winning the championship
3. The association sponsoring the event
To qualify for the League of Champions: You must be a Breeder Program MAX member; you must currently own the alpaca that won the championships, or you must have owned the alpaca at the time the championship was won. Membership fee to League of Champions is $100 to join and then $50 annually, and is in addition to the Breeder Program member fee for AlpacaStreet.com.
