Breeder Marketing Groups
The AlpacaStreet.com Breeder Marketing Groups are a terrific opportunity for Breeder Program members to create more awareness for their farm. If you currently have a group of breeders you are marketing with, now you can have your group's own webpage, your own URL, and be listed on our Breeder Marketing Groups page.
Your BMG webpage will enable you to list the members of your group and describe the benefits of working with your group. The webpage will display the logo of each participating member and link back to each member's AlpacaStreet.com site.
If you do not already have a marketing group, why not start one? This is a great way to establish a larger presence in a geographical area that will attract more attention from not only the people in the area, but also the media. You can work together to promote joint events; create alpaca packages drawn from several herds; create more impressive breed back offers by expanding the pool of herdsires; and even provide enhanced support to new breeders.
Use your Breeder Marketing Group site to:

Introduce your group to the greater alpaca community

Describe the synergistic benefits of working with your group

Promote group specials

Showcase group events

Display "featured" alpacas from each member's herd
If you are a partner in a stud, you can set up a BMG just to promote that stud!
Each Breeder Marketing Group will also have its own Event Page that can be used to provide information of upcoming group events. The event page information will be on the Member Calendar and on their BMG webpage.
To START your own Breeder Marketing Group, simply log in and click the "Manage BMG" button under the Breeder Marketing Group section of your Control Panel.
The person that starts the group is the BMG Manager. That person controls the webpage and controls who can come into the group. A minimum of 2 members is required to establish a group. Each BMG sets its own guidelines for membership. AlpacaStreet.com accepts no responsibility for the activities or membership guidelines of any Breeder Marketing Group.
To JOIN a Breeder Marketing Group, get the BMG code number from the group manager. Log in and click the "Join a BMG" button on the Breeder Marketing Groups section of the Control Panel.
BMG's are a free service for members of AlpacaStreet.com Breeder Program MAX.
You must have a minimum of two members linked to your BMG site for it to be activated.
