Great New Features just added!

Finally, an on-line auction that makes sense from both a marketing standpoint and a budget standpoint!  A nation-wide audience will be able to view and bid on your alpacas from the comfort and convenience of their own home.  And, it won't take weeks or months to find out the results!  We are going to move 36 alpacas in about an hour!

All the alpacas will be displayed on the 1 Hour Auction page for 2 weeks prior to the auction.  Viewers can click the "info" button on any alpaca to go to its pageon the owner's AlpacaStreet.com site to find out more information about it.

The AlpacaStreet.com 1 Hour Auction will be a fast-paced "Dutch" auction that will present  up to 42 alpacas for sale in a little over  1 hour! A panel of 6 alpacas will be shown with a starting bid displayed at the top of the page.  The bid represents the amount that any one of the alpacas can be purchased for at that point in time.  The bid amount will decrease every 5 seconds until all alpacas are either sold or have hit their reserve amount.

Once an alpaca is sold, the "Buy" button will be replaced with a "SOLD", and the alpaca will no longer be available for the auction (see lot 14 below). NEW FEATURE: If the bid amount shown is lower than the Reserve amount set by the Seller, when the "BUY" button is clicked, the person clicking will see a message stating,  "Below Reserve. Offer Made." The "Buy" button will be replaced with "Offer Made".(see lot 17 below)  The Seller will be given the bid amount made as an offer.  For "Offer Made" situations, the parties are free to enter into negotiation to try to arrange a purchase.

Buyers like the convenience of bidding from home!  You'll love the fast pace and excitement!

Once all the alpacas on a panel are sold or have hit their reserve, a new panel of 6 alpacas will be presented and the process will start over again.  There will be 7 panels each having 6 alpacas listed on them and each taking up to 10 minutes to either sell the alpacas or hit their reseve amount.
