We also shear Sheep, Llamas, Angora Goats & Small Children (ok. not really on the small children!). Shearing costs are the same this year: $25 per animal. Need a show cut, blanket for a fleece show. January 26, 2010 12:28 AM	I started shearing in 2009, and have shorn over 100 alpacas and llamas. I enjoy shearing and can bring help, if needed. I usually use a mat on the floor and rope-restraints, but have used a table and can if you have one. I can also trim teeth and toenails or give injections. And don't hesitate to schedule as early as January or before, because my schedule fills fast. I can also provide references. Basically, I charge $22/head for 9 or more animals, and $25/head for 8 or less. Includes nails and teeth are $5/head. I charge $.35/mile for gas. March 23, 2009 11:21 AM	As small breeders, we know the issues with finding someone to do your herd. After we started shearing our own, we decided to offer our service to other small farms in Ohio. Whether you have just two pets or a herd of 10, we will do them! We offer you the option of bringing them to our farm to save the travel fee, or we can travel to yours. Fees are: $1/mile travel one way, minimum $30. Shearing is $25/adult, $20/cria. Teeth trimming is also available at $8. Toe trimming is $5. Email your questions to: landoflegends@windstream.net
