Custom Rug Weaving

| I would like to offer my services for rug weaving with your alpaca yarn. Standard 2 ft width at this time, length up to 21 ft. Introductory offer: $.75 per inch. A 2ft x 3 ft rug would be: 36 in. x $.75 = $27.00. Can finish edges with tied warp thread, bound edge or bulky yarn tied in with the warp threads. Bound and bulky yarn edge, add $3.00 ea. rug. Warp thread(multi) colors vary with each warp winding. Always have a different look to the rugs, even using the same colored fiber. |

| Julia is a Victoria version of the S51DT model. Built to the high-quality standards that you have come to expect from Louet equipment, this full size, upright wheel is easy to use. The bobbins, flyer and Scotch Tension system are the same as used on the popular Victoria wheel. The high speed set for the beech Victoria will also fit the Julia. Specifications: Orifice is 12mm with a removable insert to create 8mm for fine spinning. The opening is 70.5 cm (approx 28") above the floor. The ratios are 1:6, 1:8.5, 1:12.5, 1:19, with an optional high speed flyer available to give you 1:27. Main wheel diameter is 50cm (approx 20"). The volume of the bobbins is 25 cubic inches (same as Victoria). The lazy kate is stand-alone and you can adjust the brake for the bobbins that come with it. Constructed of lacquered beech and birch plywood, it weighs approximately 12 lbs. Please note that this wheel does not fold but the base can be easily disassembled from the upright for storage or travel. |

Strauch Petite Drum Carder

| The "Petite" is a manual drum carder with a polyurethane drive belt. This carder is specifically for fiber artists who have budget or space considerations but want Strauch quality. The "Petite" is an excellent choice for a mid-sized carder with full sized features. The Petite is slightly smaller (6½" wide drums) than the standard chain drive (8" wide) models. The Petite is 16" long, 9" wide and 10" tall. As with the chain drive models, the Fine card cloth on the large drum and "Slicker-Licker" on the small drum is standard. Special tools included with each Petite are: The popular Knuckle-Saving-Batt-Pick, an invaluable tool for removing the batt without damage to the equipment or the user. Doffer/Cleaner Brush to thoroughly and easily clean any residual fibers from the carding drum. A small cleaner/dabber brush for use on the licker drum. Strauch Standard Drum Carder

| This mid-range Strauch chain drive drum carder is made from solid ash and has a tung oil finish. The large drum is 7" in diameter x 8¼" wide. The small drum is 2" in diameter x 8" wide. The carder produces a batt approximately 8" wide x 22" long. The frame is 24" long, 12" wide, 4" high. |
| The 200 series uses a smaller sprocket yielding a turning ratio of 4:1. Because of this the frame height is 4" and therefore this carder has to be at the edge of the work surface, allowing the crank to clear the table. |
| As with all Strauch drum carders, any of the 200 series machines comes with our Brush Attachment. |
| The 200 series drum carders are the only series that comes with a choice of carding cloth for the large drum: fine, medium, and coarse. |

| For those with specialized carding needs, there are two coarser styles of card cloth available for the carding drum (the large drum). All cloth uses 3/8" long plated steel wire in a tough rubberized cloth backing: |
| * Model DC-203-BA with the 03 medium-98 tpi.cloth. Can be used successfully for coarse to middle range fiber such as Cheviot and Romney as well as adult mohair. Useful for long fibers such as Border Leicester to get a deep batt. NOT recommended for finer fibers. |
| * Model DC-202-BA with the 02 coarse-72 tpi.cloth. For very coarse fibers specifically for felting. |
| The famous "Slicker-Licker" card cloth unique to ALL Strauch carders, is used on the small drum of every one of our machines. |
