	After 8 years of enjoying my wonderful alpacas, I am now faced with helping to care for my mother who has advancing Alzheimer’s disease and who lives out of state. I will never be able to recapture time with her while she still knows me – and having a fully functioning farm 7 hours away does not work. I have been so lucky to connect with wonderful farms, where most of my alpacas are now residing. My thanks to Shai-J Criations in CT, Island Alpacas on Martha's Vineyard, Barron Hill Alpacas in VT, Two Sons Alpacas in Maine, and Rhode Island Alpacas in RI. This has been a grand adventure - puttering in the barn and chatting with the alpacas on a daily basis, learning to give shots, breed, assist at births, shear, spin, weave, build a website, edit photos ..... WONDERFUL MEMORIES!! NOW I HAVE ONE ALPACA LEFT - FF NANTUCKET, a very handsome male suri. He is currently boarding at Shai-J Criations in CT. He will soon be ready to get to know some lovely ladies and criating more nice suris. Look at that face - how can you resist??
