| We are a small farm striving to build the "Ultimate Herd" through diversified genetics.The genetics we have already aquired or have scheduled breedings to are as follows; Ramilo, Baron, Baron Lafite, Hershey, Don Quxiote, King Arthur, Crown Royal, Jax Accoyo Kalvin, PIVAL Admiral, Fine Threads Jax, Tidal Wave, Blazen Saddle Jax, PIVAL Blazen Son, Ace, Condors Warrior and Uribe. We don't believe that strictly Peruvian is the only way to go, but it is what we seem to have right now.The judges at the shows don't ask what country of origin the animal is from, they evaluate them on their qualities. We strongly believe that diversifying the bloodlines is the way to produce the best herd. We are new to the industry so we are still growing and learning something new everyday. We have a very hands on approach to our farm. We have tried to take as many educational classes and seminars as possible. We have attended Ohio States Neo Natel Clinic, Marty McGee handling clinic, and Alpaca Jacks educational Seminar. We also get a lot of advice from Breeders who have a wealth of knowlege that we tap on a frequent basis. Ohio State is only 45 min. away at the main campus. Dr. Anderson and staff are wonderful. Then Dr. Marty Masterson is only a 1/2 hour from here in Marysville @ the OSU Large Animal Clinic there. We are very fortunate to have such quality vet care so close. To all of the great people and farms that tirelessly listen to all of our questions and patiently answer "the new kids on the block", we thank you very much. We really appreciate it. This is the only industry that I can think of where people compete against each other in the ring, but help without question when needed. We think thats great! |
