Alpaca Breeder Farm
We are a small farm and choose to stay that way to allow us to keep a daily hands-on approach to our animals. In 2006 we began our adventure into this arena with the main purpose of providing our grandson with a 4-H project that we could fit onto our 5-acre homestead, and our love for these animals instantly grew from there.
Our main emphasis is on our animals where we concentrate on their nutrition and their health, both of which play the utmost importance in the quality of the fiber they produce. We know what our animals eat, how much they eat, the nutrition of the hay we feed them, and the quality of the pastures on which they graze.
We are also very interested in helping new breeders get into the business by offering our experiences, our guidance in day-to-day operations of raising alpacas, and in continuing to educate the public about the wonderful qualities of these amazing animals' fine fiber and products that are created from their fiber.
We hope you will find the information on our website helpful, and we encourage anyone to contact us with questions they may have or just to schedule a farm visit. Throughout the cooler months of the year, we do take our animals and products to various venues for the public to meet and greet the animals where they have the opportunity to see first-hand the actual animals and the end-products their fiber is processed into. Most people are truly amazed at the softness and qualities of the alpaca fiber and then understand better why it is such a sought-after product.
Hope to see you soon!
