We are a small ranch just north of the Twin Cities metro area. We started out with Snickers and Hershey, two fiber boys. We were living on ten acres of mature oak trees and very little pasture. We decided to keep the boys for a full year then decide if indeed alpacas were as lovable and addicting as we suspected. As they say, the rest is history. We moved to a place with lots of pasture, bought three female and had two females crias born shortly after. Our herd has expanded but we will stay small so we can have individual contact with each alpaca daily. Shortly after buying Snickers and Hershey I received a spinning wheel for Christmas. Spinning the fiber is very relaxing and enjoyable. There is a great market for alpaca yarns and finished products just in the neighborhood. Quality alpacas equals quality fiber, quality fiber equals satisfied clients. The personal mentoring we received from our sellers was critical and we extend the same help and friendship to all our buyers. Come fall in love with these beautiful creatures.
