with people. We are 40 minutes north of Tampa, Florida; 40 minutes to a beach; close to 75 and 50,
and 1 and 1/2 hours from Orlando and it's sunny MOST of the time! We HAVE a place for a weekend to rent
or for a 5 day stay! Bill and I take care of the ranch with the help of our children, Dan and Ashley, and we are foster parents for 3 more family members with a few special needs., Joe, John, and Brian! Everyone here has something to contribute and is of importance to the rest of us!
The Alpacas have given us the most unexpected joys and such happy times. Some, like Lizzy, lay down
beside us when we sit in the grass. (she now only
lays with us, between breedings, as hormonal changes!)
They are JUST like people, with clearly different looks and personalities. These gentle animals are
environmentally friendly and do not tear your grass out like lots of livestock. You can have 6 animals usually per acre and they produce a fantastic fiber which is sheared and used in the fashion industry.
Besides the wonderful animal itself, there are great financial benefits with raising and selling alpacas,
including tax breaks. These animals are quite exclusive, as they are registered and DNA tested on
their bloodlines. Some of them truly are the "huggable" investment, some are financial investments,some family, and some closest friends. (great listeners) ha
We will share our farm, friendship, knowledge, and experience. We board, care, and love them like all are ours! We have great bloodlines and can help
you find the alpaca of your dreams. We are a BVD FREE FARM and will insure we keep that status for safer sales and breedingS.
